The work and contribution of Neel Industries Ltd has gained both local and international recognition. Through this, the company has earned several honours. In 1999, the company was awarded the "First Technology Award" by the SMIDO & Ministry of Industry.
In the year 2001, we were certified ISO 9001: 2000 and we are proud to be among the first small & medium enterprise in the furniture sector to be accredited an ISO certificate. Furthermore, we were awarded the "Best Practice Award" for two consecutive years, 2002 & 2003, by the Mauritian Quality Institute. In June 2004, we won the first prize for the "ICT Award" organized by the SMIDO.
In October 2004, Neel was the second runner up for the Africa SMME Awards in the category "MANUFACTURING" organized by Africa Centre for Investment Analysis. Finally in 2007, the company was the second runners-up for the Industrial Award at the Africa SMMEs Awards organized by the Africagrowth Institute.
