Flair Catering Limited was established in 1968 as one of the first privately owned catering companies with a training school. Flair was incorporated as a private limited liability company in 1972. Flair is renowned for its large scale catering, state banquets, food and fashion extravaganzas, catering for diplomatic missions, weddings, anniversaries, business lunches, and dinners and funeral receptions. Its aim is to please its customers, always and their expressed satisfaction is the motivating factor that continues to urge Flair on to new areas of creativity in the preparation and service of food.

The Flair vision continues to be focused primarily on the provision of excellent, elegant and high quality catering services that have become its hallmark to its clients and society as a whole. Flair has a staff strength of 35, is ideally located and accessible on Josif Broz Tito Avenue (formerly Rangoon Avenue). Its premises has the capacity to cater for open air stand up cocktails up to 1000 persons, and up to 800 persons for a buffet lunch or dinner. 

Additionally, Flair has a fully air conditioned banquet hall that can sit up to 60 persons for a formal dinner or lunch. Flair's rooftop garden can accommodate 500 persons for stand up cocktails or to sit 200 persons for a buffet. 

Over the last 45 years in business, Flair can boast of being the only private catering establishment that has catered for every Head of State of Ghana since 1968, most diplomatic missions, governmental and private institutions, the business community and many foreign dignitaries that have visited Ghana. The Executive Chairman of Flair also had the privilege of catering for Ghana's most illustrious first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Among the foreign dignitaries catered for are: The President of the United States of America, Barack Obama Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II of England His Royal Highness Prince Charles of England The Imperial Highness, Prince & Princess Takamado of Japan The Sultan of Brunei Presidents Nelson Mandela and Tabo Mbeki of South Africa His Excellency the Prime Minister of Malaysia The Late Emperor Haille Selasie of Ethiopia Former Secretary Generals of the United Nations, U Thant & Perez de Cuellar and Kofi Annan Former United States President, Jimmy Carter and former Vice President, Spiro Agnew President Barrack Obama

TRAINING
In 1996 Flair registered students for the N.V.T.I proficiency (practical only) and in 2011, Flair in collaboration with NVTI introduced a new training programme initially for one year.  This programme broadens their horizon and gives them the basics.

With an increasing demand for qualified hotel staff in Ghana, Flair is at the moment collaborating with foreign investors to establish a hotel school to train personnel in different sectors of the hotel industry and will offer  recognised professional programmes that will be consistent with international standards. Beyond this, the Flair Hotel School will aim to provide career support by partnering with businesses in the hotel and tourism industries in Ghana and the Western Africa sub-region.

In addition to our existing catering course, Flair has designed a Gourmet, Grooming and Etiquette course for housewives, female entrepreneurs and mature ladies who want to improve and add more excitement to their food preparation and presentation.  This 3 months course takes place only on Saturdays.   Flair has also successfully completed two successive “Fun Cookery” classes for children ranging from ages 10 to 15 years of age. Flair also has refresher courses for catering personnel, housekeepers, cook stewards and house help. Flair has designed a Ghanaian cuisine and local “specialities” course for Expatriates and Diplomatic wives.
                        
To date Flair has trained over 5000 men and women who have not only come from Ghana but also from neighbouring Togo, Nigeria, Liberia, Burkina Faso, Zambia, Tanzania and the United Kingdom.

Many of the Flair graduates have established their own catering establishments and their counterparts are holding down responsible jobs in many of the 4 and 3 star Hotels, restaurants, Guest houses, canteens and catering sectors within a vast majority of both private and government institutions in Ghana.
