Since 1977 PROTALL has been known for top quality paint and coatings for the homeowner, contractor, architect and industrial use.  At PROTALL, the quality goes into the product before the product goes in the can. Protall’s main four businesses are: Coatings, Synthetic Resins, Printing Inks & packaging.

In 1977, Prof. Abd ElMoneim Khalifa, and Prof. Wagdi Khalifa set up a small paint factory in Alexandria with a goal to produce architectural paints locally. The Graviato and Granoul exterior paints soon became the products of choice to main Egyptain contractors. In 1983, Protall partnered with Ciba Geigy to produce the first color concentrates in Egypt with the same quality and specifications as it’s produced in Switzerland.

The entire workforce at Protall will continue to work together in setting and implementing, QEHS objectives, targets and programs that are regularly reviewed and communicated to the relevant functions.

Soon after, Protall introduced high value economic emulsion paints to the market which remained the paint of choice to millions up to this date. As business grew, the need for larger facilities also grew. Protall has since relocated to larger facilities expanding over 60,000 sqm, with a 100 million EGP capital and 300 professional worker. Today, the company's core principles to serve our unique markets remain in consistently providing breakthrough paint solutions and high performance products.
