Sable Engineering (Pty) Ltd was incorporated in 1981 and has been trading continuously in Botswana for more than 30 years. Our first modest factories were located in rented properties in Broadhurst Industrial until 1984 when a decision was made to purchase an undeveloped 3000m2 property in the then very new Gaborone West Industrial Estate. 

The move to Gaborone West was ambitious at the time, as we were one of the first companies to relocate to the area. Once the newly built workshop was completed, we acquired the adjoining property of the same size which was later developed for investment purposes. To this day we are still located at the same address. During the early years the company was generally involved in structural steelwork however in the early 1990s, the company took a decision to redirect their focus towards machining and fabrication. 

Over the years we have invested, acquired and collected an assortment of tooling, equipment and machinery, some of which was especially purchased for specific jobs. A consequence of this practice is that we are now in a comfortable position where we are able to undertake most jobs in-house without outsourcing work across the border. 

Sable Engineering (Pty) Ltd has a workshop Staff compliment of 17 of which 95% are Batswana and some of our dedicated Staff have been with us from the very start. Over the last 30 years we have established many good relationships with our valuable customers, we are committed to Botswana and look forward to serving her and her People for many years to come
