Choppies is the brand we would like to grow through out Botswana.   Hardware & Furniture Hardware There are four hardware and building materials stores that caters for the lower end of the market in different parts of Botswana.   Furniture These are new concept furniture stores which allow cash service to the customers and government sector at a very competitive level and attract medium and low segment of the market.   Manufacturing Cool Ice This is the only industrial ice making plant in Botswana with a capacity of over 15 tons ice per day. Another plant is in Francistown with a production capacity of 10 tons per day and we are shortly opening a new site in Maun with the same production capacity.   Packaging We have a rice packing unit located in lobatse. We are concentrating on brand building, and this plant packing over 270 tones of rice in one month under our brand name "CHOPPIES". Spices, beans and pulsus are also being packaged now.   Market Share Holds more than 35% of market share in Botswana. Over 15% of Botswana market.   Future Plans We are planning to start four more retail outlets before the end of the year. Strong brand building under choppies with house brand of Rice, Canned products, Toilet Rolls, Dish washing liquid, Samp and Maize and Rice.
