Enrich Agro Industry is engaged in the manufacturing of various food products such as Breakfast Cereals, Baby Food (Infant Cereals), Snacks and Tomato Ketchup processed from nutritious grains, oil seeds and vegetables such as Teff, Maize, Wheat, Sesame, Oats, Chickpeas, Barley, Peanuts, Potatoes and others.  Our raw materials are directly sourced from various cooperative unions whose role is to facilitate market access to small scale farmers, promoting smallholder commercialization and generating rural welfare improvements.  We’re mainly adopting a door to door distribution strategy using our company’s own fleets reaching out all our core market segments thereby facilitating convenience and ease of access to our end consumers. Enrich is now further expanding its factory with an additional 3,000m2 plot of land the company recently acquired adjacent to its existing production facility. Enrich Agro Industry is a pioneer in manufacturing Breakfast Cereals in Ethiopia. We’re also proud to be a pioneer in manufacturing Teff Flakes, a gluten free breakfast cereal made from an ancient and super grain originated in Ethiopia named Teff.  Since establishment, the company has experienced a rapid growth, thus, becoming one of the leading food processing company in Ethiopia. Today, Enrich products are available at thousands of retail outlets across the country and receive a wide recognition throughout Ethiopia which nourishes the company’s ambition to expand its reach across neighboring countries and beyond with a wide range of product offers. Chalmar Beef is an ethical, family operated business which is passionate about their cattle and producing premium quality home grown beef. The business consist of pasture reared, grain finished cattle as well as an award winning abattoir facility.We want the consumers to know and understand where their beef comes from so that they can made informed buying decisions. Chalmar Beef has the capacity to house 19 000 cattle on pasture. All young calves under 200kg’s go onto pasture and are pasture reared for 3 to 5 months before entering the feedlot. The supply of cattle to feedlots is very seasonal in South Africa. This leads to shortages of beef during certain times of the year. By rearing young cattle on pasture we ensure a consistent supply of cattle to the feedlot and ultimately beef on your plate throughout the year. All lamb produced by Chalmar is from lambs fed in our new dedicated lamb feedlot facilities. We do not buy in any market ready lambs and therefore maintain control over the entire feedlot and abattoir production phase to give our consumer peace of mind.   Being a fully integrated company, we employ people from all walks of life and levels of skill. Botswana Meat Commission (BMC) is committed to maintain the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 standard in order to produce meat products and by-products of consistent quality and legality which meet statutory, regulatory and customer requirements. To ensure food safety, BMC has implemented and will continue to maintain a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system that conforms to requirements of South African National Global Standard (SANS) 10330:2007 and British Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for food safety. BMC headquaters are in Lobatse and other abattoirs in Francistown and Maun. Besides owning three abattoirs in Botswan BMC has storage facilities in South Africa and marketing subsidiaries in the United Kingdom and South Africa. Botswana is a leader in cattle identification and traceability with cattle implanted rumen boluses, which unique electronic radio frequency devices which are scanned to provide animal history back to the National Data Base. This ensures consumer confidence based on world’s based practice. From the .unique number of each carton, we are able to trace the meat back to the specific farm. BMC products are Halaal as supervised certified by the Botswana Muslim Association. The Botswana cattle industry uses free range and natural farming methods, which ensure full – flavoured, lean beef of highest quality. Botswana ‘s land and its sub- tropical and semi-arid climate is ideally suited for cattle farming . The country boasts of between 2.5 to 2.8 million head of cattle.
