Since 1991, Multiple Industries Limited has been leading the way in the manufacturing of Domestic and Industrial Plastic Products in Uganda. More recently we have also introduced SIMBA PP-R pipes and fittings ideal for the distribution of Hot and Cold water.Our new SIMBA PROFILES - Fascia/Barge boards and rain water guttering systems have provided a real alternative to the replacement of timber fascias and metal gutters.Multiple is at work for continual development and upgradation of our product range and making plastics that work for you! Our continued emphasis on quality from the smallest bottle to large durable buckets, from drinking straws to strong dependable plastic pipes, from plastic Fascia & Barge boards to rain water guttering systems,ensures our aim of meeting our customers' product satisfaction.SIMBA HDPE pipes are made up of high density polythlyne(HDPE) plastic material. It is the recommended material for the manufacture of high pressure pipes and is reknowned world wide for its reliability,it's toughness, resistance, to chemical attack and its immunity to weather conditions make it an excellent material to convoy water.They are manufactured and conform to international standard DIN 8074 and Uganda standard US 482:2002 specifications.The dimensions are based on ISO/R-161-1960.SIMBA HDPE pipes are available in 20mm to 250mm diameter and pressure rating PN 6, PN10 and PN16 with complete range of fittings. SIMBA PVC pipes are made of un plasticised Poly Vinyl Chloride.It is the established material for potable water & industrial fluid handling . Its inherent smooth walls provide a superior flow characteristics reducing long term operating costs.Each twenty foot length(6metres) of pipe can be supplied with a cement solvent joint or rubber ring joint with an integral rubber ring seal joint.The rubber ring creates an easy-to -install push-on joint that automatically accomodates thermal expansion and contractions.The integral-bell joint meets the same pressure capacity requirements as the uPVC pipe itself.The rubber ring joint is available on sizes from 63mm and above and pressure ratings PN6 and above.SIMBA PVC is manufactured in metric sizes from 20mm to 400mm in a range of pressure ratings 2.5,4,6,10 and 16 Bar conforming to DIN 8062 standard. The equivalent standard are BS 3505 & ISO 161/1. Our Flexible Hose pipes are a convenient way of transporting water from nearest tap to the site of construction instead of the traditional way of using jerrycans.And because of its flexible nature it can be rolled and shifted from one place to the other.Other application of Hose Pipe include in washing vehicles and gardening.Size : 20mm, 25mm & 32mmMeter Per Roll : 30mts, 50mts, 100mts & 200mts.Elite Plasticware: Our Jericans range from 20litres to 1litre and bottles from 1litre to 60mls. We also produce a multiplicity of domestic ware such as plates,water jars,cups, food and water containers,bowls,plastic hungers,buckets... that add value to the lives of our customers.

Part of the Madhvani Group of Companies, which has a turnover of Ushs. 200 billion (US$ 114 million), Kakira Sugar Works provides livelihood directly and indirectly to over 100,000 individuals. Crushing 3,500 tons of cane per day, Kakira Sugar Works produces more than 87,000 tons of sugar each year, with 10.5 months of continuous operation . A workforce of over 6,500 and 8,700 ha of land under cane belonging to the estate.Over 4,000 outgrower farmers supply sugar cane to Kakira Sugar Works. Our social infrastructure includes staff housing, electrical distribution systems, roads, a hospital and 12 schools for employees' children. A major expansion programme, currently being undertaken, envisages that by 2008-9 Kakira will have increased outgrowers land under cane to over 18,000 hectares.We are in the process of increasing the factory crushing capacity to 6,000 TCD, producing over 150,000 tons of sugar each year. We are also planning to generate up to 20 MW of electricity, including up to 12 MW for National Grid of Uganda.

Outspan Enterprises Ltd is one of the leading suppliers of organic food in East Africa exporting cocoa beans, coffee, maize grains, beans, green tea leaves to various markets around the world. The company was established in 1977 as an agricultural produce company. At the time, the company's major exports were; cocoa beans, coffee, maize grains, beans and green tea leaves for the conventional markets. In 1999, the company's management decided to venture into the production and export of Organic Agricultural Products under the project named Outspan Organagric Ltd. Initially, the project started with the export of Organic Sesame seed along with cotton and coffee and in 2000, Outspan introduced a new variety – Sesame II – which gave a better yield and had a higher oil content and has been a big success for all participating farmers. It was under this venture to expand in it's scope of export products that Outspan Enterprises Ltd has grown to be one of the leading exporters of Organic products in East Africa. The company now mainly deals in the export of Cotton lint, Sesame seed, Cocoa beans, Red birdeye chillies, Passion fruits, Dry Ginger and Mangoes which are all organically produced. In 2004, WISPRO received the Uganda National Bureau of Standards Mark of Quality Certification, and, as of today, is still the only bearer of this mark.Thanks to regional support by customers and consistent quality assurance by staff, WISPRO has been exporting to Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo, in addition to supplying the Ugandan market.Wispro, according to the Uganda Bureau of Statistics, exported the highest value of personal care products in the years 2003 and 2004. We are certain Wispro will win the prestigious President’s Export Award for 2005 as well.
