In 2004 we took ownership of the Hotel, renaming it Tiwi Beach Resort, with the romantic idea of creating ‘Paradise under African Skies’. However, tragically in the new year of 2009, the resort suffered a devastating fire, with over 80% destroyed. Instead of being defeated we stated ‘the hotel will rise from the ashes’. We wanted to build an eco friendly hotel that complemented Kenya’s coast line. A place where guests felt at home, whilst enjoying the resort's many charms and a personalized service. A place that has something for everyone; be it a family holiday, adventure, romance or simply business. The vision did not just stop there. Being from Kenya and our roots firmly planted here we felt that with the development we wanted to give back something back to the people and the country that is so much part of who we are. So as construction began, using where possible local tradesman, talent, materials, we decided to re brand the resort bringing in a hint of the local culture, whilst not losing the Tiwi Beach Resort identity. After much thought and research we decided to re-brand as AMANI TIWI BEACH RESORT. Amani being reference to the local Swahili language found on the Kenyan coast. Swahili although used today throughout Kenya and the most famous of all the tribal languages was originally developed on the Kenyan coast and is a beautiful blend of the local African and Arabic language. A beautiful word with a simple yet had a profound meaning, ‘Purity’. This was important as this was truly our vision of what we wanted to achieve; so from the design, to the built, our ambassadors (staff) and to the way we operate our services.

The Cyprea Group of Companies came into existence with the incorporation of Cyprea Pvt. Ltd. in 1978. Although it was established to serve as a travel agency, the company was formed on solid ground, its foundation laid on the budding tourism industry. The company was formed with a vision; a vision of leading the way, clearing the path for greater things to come. The company from inception firmly focused on the travel and hospitality industry the company’s first milestone did not take long to reach. The company acquired Kanifinolhu in North Malé Atoll for the development of a tourist resort in 1979. Cyprea Hotels and Travel Pvt. Ltd. was formed to manage and operate the resort. The newly formed company became the first IATA accredited travel firm in the Maldives.

In the Park you will be able to see the big number of elephants, other animals, baobab trees and large batch of colorful and exclusive bird species which give wonderful sightings make Tarangire a popular safari destination. Late evening drive to camp for dinner and overnight.   OPTION NO. 2   Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park   After breakfast, pick up from your camp and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for full day game drive with your picnic lunches at the picnic site. This superb scenic park, is set around the Lake is most famous for its tree climbing Lions, the soda ash lake and its flamingos. Late evening drive to camp for dinner and overnight.   Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater   After early breakfast descends in to the Crater floor for about 6 hrs game viewing with picnic lunches in Ngorongoro Crater. Here justification of why is it considered as one of the wonder of the world. Ngorongoro is one of the true wonders of nature and home of Rhinos, Elephants, Lions and many other species.
