It has also been registered with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under the Internal Revenue (Registration of Business) Act, 2005 (Act 684) with file number TNLC 94024 as a non-profit organisation.    Free World Foundation has a close working relationship with other institutions and regularly collaborates with them in staging its seminars and workshops. It has also signed a number of Memoranda of Understanding with its international partners.    Free World Foundation was a Member of the Electoral College that elected Ghana's two civil society representatives to the Economic, Social and Cultural Council's (ECOSOCC) Permanent General Assembly of the African Union Commission at the Hilton Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya on 17th April, 2008 for a mandate of four (4) years.
