DETAILED SAFARI ITINERARY: Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park : In the morning at 0800hrs pick up from your arrive at Kilimanjaro international Airport and travel via Arusha to Tarangire National Park for game drives. Lunch picnic there after lunch continue with afternoon game viewing in the park to look for Lion, Leopard, Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and more… Over 450 species of birds have been observed. Lunch picnic and there after proceed with afternoon game viewing before the drive takes you to Manyara for dinner and overnight at Serena lodge, booked on full board basis, FB. Day 2: Manyara and Drive - to – Serengeti National Park (Ndutu): Breakfast at your lodge, at 0730hrs depart for Serengeti National Park at Ndutu Area, across Ngorongoro Conservation. Continue with your journey and arrive at the Serengeti entry gate (Naabi) around 1200hrs (picnic lunch will be served here). Thereafter, Continue to NDUTU for afternoon game drive till Sunset. The Serengeti is probably the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Within its 15,000sq km area, it hosting millions of large mammals. More than 35 species of plain animals- zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, and others are found here. And so for the big five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino. The park is the staging zone for one the most spectacular events in the natural world- the annual migration of wildebeest. This commences around June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head for the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of pasture. They are followed closely by the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. The Serengeti also has over 500 species of birds. Day 3: One more full days of Game drives in NDUTU, South Serengeti National Park: Serengeti is a BIG game heaven, at 0700hrs you dedicate this day to NDUTU, Southern Serengeti, and take a morning and an afternoon game drive following the MIGRATION. This is the right time to see the migration around Central and South Serengeti Park. You will have dinner and overnight in Ndutu Serengeti at your tented camp, booked on full board basis, FB Day 4: Serengeti – to – Full day Ngorongoro Crater tour. - Breakfast in ndutu, at 1000hrs leave from ndutu area and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. The drive commences with the 600 m descent to the crater floor, a magnificent natural amphitheater. Covering 260 sq. km, the crater is an attraction in its own right and is one of the wonders of the natural world. The crater supports a year round resident population of a variety of wildlife. You will have no trouble spotting the BIG FIVE lion, leopard, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and many other species of plain animals- wildebeest, zebra, reedbuck, Thompson gazelle and many more. You will have picnic lunch in the Crater, at 1600hrs ascend the Crater and drive to Karatu and check in Farm House, booked on full board basis, FB Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater tour - Arusha. - Breakfast at lodge, descend for the second time in the Crater for a half day game drive. Picnic lunch will be served in the crater. You may opt to have hot lunch at the lodge, so you may leave the crater at around 1130hrs.
