Phikwe Industrial Metal Pressing (PIMP) is situated in the Selebi Phikwe Industrial Area and was formed in 1988. The business is a fabrication shop that also supplies an on-site installation / erection service to its customers. Over the years the business has built up a good reputation as a reliable mechanical engineering business.

Prior to 2007 the business focussed mainly on serving the Selebi Phikwe area with its main customer being the Nickel and Copper producing mine, BCL Limited. In January 2007 the business was bought out and the new management have expanded its marketing and operations to service major industry throughout Northern Botswana. In addition to the manufacturing capability of the workshop, the company is developing its Project Management capability. To this end a Drawing Office facility has been set up.
