Founded in 1949 D.T Dobie started out with the Mercedes-Benz franchise for East Africa, which included both saloon cars and also heavy commercial vehicles. In 1964 our organisation was awarded the sole franchise distributorship of Nissan passenger and light commercial vehicles in Kenya. In 2001, we were awarded the Jeep franchise for Kenya. The company was in the year 2000 acquired by CFAO, a French company specialised in distributorship with a market value estimated in excess of US$ 25 billion. CFAO is the leader in vehicle distribution in Africa, present in 30 African markets
