Landela Safaris was created in 1985. To begin with there was just the single unit of Landela Lodge, offering conference facilities and game viewing. As it is based just outside of Harare it is useful to guests as a one night stopover before moving onto Vic Falls etc.

Since then the company has gone from strength to strength, with lodges situated in many varying parts of Zimbabwe and Botswana, the focus always being on plentiful game as the main attraction.

All of our units are guaranteed to reach high international standards while at the same time retaining a 'touch of the wild'.

We have taken time to enrich our knowledge, broaden our principles, raise our standards, and fine tune our approach to the personalised, exemplary service standard we are known for.

We embarked upon a journey of reflection, appreciation and understanding of how much more we could achieve. Our fundamental philosophies in terms of sustainable tourism, community interaction and environmental awareness remains.
