Rural Unity for Development Organisation (RUDO) is a non-governmental organisation established in 1992 on the foothills of the 1991/1992 major drought with the intention to mitigate the effects of drought on the household and community livelihood especially of the most vulnerable rural poor.
The organisation has since shifted in terms of programme thrust and focus from a pre-occupation with the drought relief programming to more community and sustainable interventions in the three provinces of Masvingo, Manicaland and Midlands, mainly targeting the small holder producers involved in diverse on and off farm activities.
