Afrihost acquires International connectivity via Undersea cables such as EASSy and WACS. Your connection is then routed on these undersea cables to your data's final destination. IPC is a connection owned by Telkom which connects their DSL infrastructure to other Service Providers. You break out of Telkom's Network onto Afrihosts National Network via IPC.

Your modem connects to the Telkom network via your DSL enabled Phone Line. You are then routed via Telkom's IPC from Telkom's Network to the Afrihost Network. Your PC, Tablets, Smartphones, Game Consoles etc. connect via Wi-Fi or Ethernet Cable to your local DSL connection.
