Aren Software produces and markets payroll software for small and medium-sized Kenyan, Ugandan and Tanzanian companies. In addition, we offer payroll processing services for organisations located in Nairobi and its environs. Our payroll products, Aren Payroll and Aren Register, are sold off-the-shelf and are revised periodically to include new features and in response to changes in statutory requirements. We provide free telephone support for these products during working hours. When the need arises we also provide on-site support.
Payroll Bureau Service
Our payroll bureau service is aimed at companies that prefer not to process their payroll data internally. The service works as follows:
We collect input data from your premises once a month and key it into Aren Payroll.
We verify that the data has been keyed in accurately.
We print the reports that you have specified, including all statutory reports for the month, and deliver these reports to you.
If you pay mid-month salary advances we will process this data as well.
At the end of each year we will also print and deliver to you the P9A, P10 and P10A reports.

Aren Register
Aren Register extends the functionality of Aren Payroll to include leave processing and support for structured, position-based organisations.
It lets you specify the posts available in your organisation and then assign employees to these posts. As new employees join they are assigned to the posts you specify. Employees are retained in the system until they leave the organisation. Reports on active and former employees are provided.
The system will help you to keep track of annual leave days earned and taken by employees. You will also be able to record all absence from work. Annual reports on leave and absence are available.
As with Aren Payroll, two editions of Aren Register are available. The Standard edition caters for monthly workers only, while the Premier edition handles biweekly, weekly and irregular pay periods as well.
