Ongoma provides a drum for each participant, after which the facilitator introduces participants to their instruments and leads them through the steps of getting to know and playing their drums.

Our experienced facilitators draw the best out of each participant as they learn to follow a simple beat, surprise themselves by playing a solo on the ethnic West-African djembe-drum, and interact in dialogues composed entirely of drumbeats. We also bring in tambourines and shakers to further spice up the rhythm.

Drumming workshops can be combined with team building seminars, incorporating elements of strategy planning, communication skills and goal-oriented focus. Beating an African drum in unison with a group of others is an empowering experience, enhancing relationships and communication, and boosting the morale of your entire company.
