Nutraceutical Group ChiaSa started in February 2008 initially as a company dedicated to the cultivation and marketing of Chía (Salvia Hispánica L) and soon assumed the potential of the product as the healthiest, richest and most secure source of Omega (ω3) in the world. Nutraceutical Group ChíaSa has focused primarily on strengthening and upgrading the knowledge as well as the scientific and technical expertise on this natural resource. 

In 2009, developed and perfected the techniques of cryogenic grinding and oil extraction processes using Supercritical State Fluids (SSF), allowing it to expand its product range to flours, a source of fibre and protein, with different levels of content in oil and omega 3 (ω3), as well to pure oil, the basis of a wide range of varieties, without losing their tasting properties and providing it with all its antioxidants high stability. However, the knowledge of better genetic varieties, climate and growing conditions and agricultural process control applied, is the cornerstone for the manufacture of Nutraceuticals and Cosmeceuticals Ingredients Rich in Omega 3.

1. It contains 700 % more Omega 3 than blue fish and wild salmon. The Chía seed offers a fish free taste, whilst proving a richer source of Omega 3 than found in fish oil. The fatty acids of Omega 3 play a fundamental role in cerebral functions, its growth and development.
 
2. 600 % more calcium than whole milk from a cow.
Calcium is the main elements that nourishes the bones and teeth.Calcium salts make up to 70 per cent of bones by weight and give bones their strength and rigidity.
