Hariss International Limited is one of the leading food and beverage companies in Uganda. It is a Proudly Ugandan company popularly known by its flagship brand name RIHAM.

Since its inception in 2005, the company has evolved and expanded its portfolio to more than 50 healthy, refreshing and enjoyable products such as Carbonated Soft Drinks, Natural Mineral Water, Fruit Juices, Malt & Energy Drinks, and a variety of Biscuits and Sweets.

More than 120 million litres of Hariss International Limited’s differentiated soft drinks are consumed per annum while its other products are enjoyed by thousands of customers in Uganda and across East Africa every day. 

This is made possible by the over 2000 individuals employed directly and indirectly by Hariss International and proficient supply and distribution chain partners who ensure that the customers’ expectations are always exceeded, each day.

Hariss International Limited boasts of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and central distribution warehouse of approximately 45,000m2, located along Bombo Road, Kawempe Division.  A second and spacious manufacturing plant, sitting on about 25 acres, that is home to one of the biggest confectionery and candy production lines in the region has been constructed and set to be completed in 2022.   

In 2020, Oppenheimer Partners; a global investment business with roots firmly in Africa, invested in Hariss International Limited.

Oppenheimer Partners is now working closely with the founders of Hariss International to further transform it and pursue growth opportunities to make a real and permanent contribution to the well-being of Ugandans.
