ZAMNET Communication Systems Ltd was established in 1994 as Zambia's and one of sub-Sahara's first Internet Service Provider. Zamnet seeks to deliver affordable but high quality Internet, Information and Communication solutions through a highly skilled and motivated workforce. Since inception, Zamnet has been continuously developing and introducing new services thereby staying on the cutting edge of technology.

Zamnet currently has four manned Points of Presence (Pops) in Lusaka, Kitwe, Livingstone and Solwezi while maintaining virtual PoPs in Ndola, Luanshya, and Mazabuka and a drop off point in Kabwe. We at Zamnet are not just content to have the title of 'pioneer'; we wish to go beyond what is currently obtaining on the ISP market. It is our intent therefore to make internet connectivity as widely accessible in Zambia as possible.

The company envisions the use of the Internet and other ICTs not only in the urban areas but to shift to the rural areas as well and to ensure that these are used as tools for endeavors in human developments such as education through distance learning, Agricultural development for food security and telemedicine for health services.

To this end, ZAMNET is not only committed to keeping the pole position on the ISP market with regard to quality of service delivery and provision of services using the most up to date technologies but is also a company that is committed to the service of the country in fostering both economic and social development through the use of the Internet and other related Information and Communication Technologies.
