Although a substantial new international airport is currently under construction following the lengthening of Kisauni Airport runway to accommodate larger planes, for most carriers Dar Es Salaam (approx. 50m from Stone Town) is still the nearest international airport. The shuttle flight to Zanzibar from Dar Es Salaam it is a 20 minute hop with Zanair or Coastal Aviation. We will be waiting to chauffeur you from the airport to Matemwe Bandas.
