Central to our passion - the functional arm of our family businesses – is our line haul fleet, which comprises well over a hundred power units and nearly 150 trailers.
At these numbers our fleet, in units and capacity, is designed to provide clients and the markets in which they operate a strategic competitive advantage and an ongoing value proposition. Our family of skilled drivers operates the fleet – most which have been with the company for more than 10 years.
Ongoing driver training and development is key to the family philosophy to invest in the growth of our people which has resulted in our driver corps to be one of the first to enjoy accreditation under the Namibia Logistics Association's Driver Development Program. For total peace of mind and guaranteed service delivery, FP du Toit's on the road prime mover fleet policy only employs state-of-the-art German and American engineering and technology. So as to ensure reliability and service, and optimize operational cost efficiencies the fleet is replaced on 36-month cycles.
