Zimbabwe Newspapers (1980) Limited, a public listed Company was incorporated in March 1927 as Rhodesia Printing and Publishing Company Limited.

The company traces its origins back to 1981, which is when the Herald was founded. On 30 May 1980, the Company changed its name from the Rhodesia Printing and Publishing Company Limited to Zimbabwe Newspapers (1980) Limited, commonly known as Zimpapers.

The company was registered on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange on 15 October 1951.

Newspaper Publishing
The Newspaper Division is made up of 3 branches: Harare, Bulawayo and Mutare. The company publishes seven newspaper titles and three magazines.

Commercial Printing
The Commercial Printing Division is made up of three branches: National Printing and Packaging (Natprint), Typocrafters and BoldAds.

The division is responsible for commercial printing, paper packaging, printing of books, continous stationery and security documents. BoldAds produces diaries and calendars and offers origination services.
