Since our inception, we have been leading the automobile industry in innovation with iconic brands, playing a major role in its modern transformation in Mauritius. Based in Mauritius with worldwide connectivity, Elytis is a top-class distributor for more than 10 leading international brands in IT equipment and software and has established itself in 50 territories from Central and Sub-Saharan Africa, Indian Ocean and to the French Pacific region.

Founded in 1970, Leal & Co. Ltd is a market leader in the automobile industry made strong by iconic brands and renowned for its long-standing importer and retail partnerships with leading automotive manufacturers.

Our adventure started when Clency Leal purchased a blue BMW in the UK and brought it back to Mauritius. This iconic first car and its 1144 number plate paved the way for an enduring relationship with the famous German brand, and in 1974, Leal & Co. Ltd became the BMW dealer in Mauritius. 

Further partnerships soon followed with other recognised brands in the automobile industry, with whom we have been working ever since, to offer excellence on every level.

We are among the first premium luxury car suppliers and importers of BMW, MINI, Rolls Royce, Renault, KIA, Mitsubishi, GWM and Haval in Mauritius. We pride ourselves on our ability to offer high-quality vehicles in Mauritius along with our world-class service.

Since 2013, Leal Group continues its extension in the Indian Ocean with the opening of Leal Réunion representing BMW and MINI on our sister island.
