Service Outline
- You’ll be assigned a case-officer who will request some basic medical information relating to your case. Once we've received your files, via email or collection, we’ll send them to our partner hospitals for review and feed-back. This process may take a maximum of up to 72hrs.
- We then discuss if you would like to opt for medical tourism and whether you will engage MedTours Africa as your facilitator
- If needed, a teleconference/ Skype call will be arranged between specialists to discuss the case
- Highlight possible travel dates
- You will be offered different accommodation options and flight options for your selection
- Payments for medical treatment are made directly to the hospital partner by the medical insurance company or individual with MedTours Africa facilitating for a smooth process
- Acquiring Visas- MedTours Africa will assist in getting all documents ready for obtaining the visas. Kindly note some embassies insist on applicants personally handing in their documents
- Departure
- You will be met at the destination airport by hotel/hospital representatives
- Your procedure will be performed by competent medical personnel
- Post-operation you might decide to tour destination country, MedTours Africa has local partners to take over the sight-seeing
- Return to home country
- MedTours Africa will be available for any requests and post-treatment consultations with the operating specialist
