Established in 1946 in a small factory in Bulawayo, manufacturing sweets. These hard boiled sweets became ever popular with their wide range of products including “suckers”, “sugar sticks” and “Apricot Balls”. Demand for Arenel’s quality products grew and in 1973, a biscuit plant was purchased from Europe and installed. Arenel now has one of the largest sweet and biscuits manufacturing facilities in Zimbabwe and distributes these products to all corners of our nation.
