Alaska Tanzania (AKTZ) Industries Ltd is a value-added business that sources, packs, brands and supplies agricultural produce to supermarkets, high-end hotels, restaurants, catering companies and gas and oil companies. The company is Tanzanian-owned and it was registered in March 2011 but started its business operations in January 2013.  

The company is committed to meet the expectations of all of our stakeholders from farmers to consumers. AKTZ was founded on the principles of deep understanding of the local business content, experience in product supply-chain management, hard work and dedication to support local farmers in Tanzania.

Our Core Competence includes the combined experience in quality sourcing, (we source our locally grown produce from local farmers we know and partners we trust, supporting our communities and creating meaningful relationships with those around us) highly efficient approach to category development, starting from evaluation of relevant categories to delivery of the product on retail shelf spaces in our own brand names. We are TBS and TFDA Certified.

All our products are locally sourced. We source our rice directly from farmers in Mbeya region. We are delighted to bring to the market farm fresh produce with an absolute superior quality.
